We the undersigned respectfully ask your Government to abandon spending cuts of approx. 2 bn throughout the UK Armed Forces.
Furthermore, we demand that the decision to axe one Scottish regiment and the merging of the remaining regiments be immediately reversed.
Morally your Government should issue an apology to those soldiers on active service in those regiments and to their families for the stress and unnecessary worry caused by this announcement.
