We, the undersigned, wish to express our discontent and dismay regarding the recent news about 'Star Wars: Battlefront 3'. For the past five years we have purchased and thoroughly enjoyed 'Star Wars: Battlefront' and 'Star Wars: Battlefront 2', for their unprecedented quality and playability in gameplay, technology, and wide accessibility to Star Wars fans of all ages. As a result, and as we are sure you are aware, the 'Battlefront' series has become the most profitable of 'Star Wars' videogames; as well as one of the most popular videogames of all time.

Since the release of 'Star Wars: Battlefront 2' four years ago in 2005, we, the loyal customers, have awaited the chance to purchase a possible third installment in the series. Recently, footage of the rumored 'Star Wars: Battlefront 3' game being developed by FreeRadical was released to the internet that has since been confirmed to be genuine. This new footage has excited us, the fans, and surpassed even our high expectations and dreams for the product. In our opinion, as consumers and fans, 'Star Wars: Battlefront 3' is far superior to even the best-selling and award-winning predecessors in the series and we sincerely hope that the product that we wish to purchase immediately upon release will remain in at least the same level of quality as the one shown in the footage.

We find the news that FreeRadical is in financial trouble very discouraging because it could very well lead to the permanent discontinuation of such an obviously superior product in what appears to be later stages of development. With the possibility that 'Star Wars: Battlefront 3's current technologies and all creative assets as well as employees being suspended indefinitely we believe it is absolutely imperative for another avenue of financial support to rescue this highly desirable product. If it is at all possible for LucasArts to support the current FreeRadical development team on their outstanding project, we believe it would be an extremely wise investment when the gross revenues of the prior 'Star Wars: Battlefront' series and the considerable fan exuberance over the recently released footage are taken into consideration. If another company is chosen to complete development, we respectfully request the continuation of the FreeRadical project using any and all creative assets at their disposal.

We, your devoted fans and consumers, most emphatically request the continuation of development of 'Star Wars: Battlefront 3'.
