Keep Jorja Fox on CSI:Crime Scene Investigation

We the undersigned viewers and fans of the CBS show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, demands that the contract negotiations between CBS and Jorja Fox continue AND be resolved so that Jorja Fox remains on the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

We the fans are not happy with the news of the possibility the character Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) will not be returning for the next (8th) season and the character will be killed off.

The character of Sara Sidle; a smart, successful, strong, hard working woman who has overcome a great deal of tragic events in her life, is a great role model for those who have experienced less than perfect circumstances in their lives. She shows all female viewers that with hard work and determination you can accomplish anything no matter your past. She has always persevered through all her personal and professional events in her character life on the show. She has never used the tactic of using sex to get what she wants or to further her goals and it is SOOO REFRESHING to see a female character like that.

Also, it is great to see her in an actual, watch able relationship (Grissom and Sidle) and not ‘bed hopping’ as so many television characters do. In today’s world of television there are too few strong women characters that CBS’s female audience can actually relate to and use as a role model.

To remove any original character from the show will damage the show and the long time viewer approval and rating of the show. She is a pivotal character that completes the show. To remove the character Sara Sidle from the show will leave the show lacking not only in content but in viewers.

Removing Sara Sidle would be like removing Gil Grissom from the show; it just doesn’t work without either one.

Also, a reminder, with CSI up against the rival network show “Grey’s Anatomy”, CBS will be making a VERY foolish mistake by not working out these contract disputes with Jorja Fox.
Another reminder, fan viewers = corporate sponsorship = money for CBS.
Loss of viewers = loss of sponsorship= loss of money.

CBS needs to do what ever it takes to keep Jorja Fox as Sara Sidle on the show if they want to keep their show where it is in the ratings or possibly higher with the new story line.

In conclusion, we the undersigned, the fans that keep the show on CBS, demand that Jorja Fox AKA Sara Sidle is kept on the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
