Save A Current Affair |
To: Twentieth TelevisionDear A Current Affair Fans,
On Wednesday, September 21st, Twentieth Television announced that it had decided to cancel "A Current Affair" just 6 months after the groundbreaking news magazine series returned to television. "A Current Affair," which initially ran from 1986 to 1996, was brilliantly resurrected earlier this year, with the same badass sound effects and spinning pyramid graphic it had in its original incarnation, along with the talents of host Tim Green, former NFL player, best-selling author and one of People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People." But this brilliant shining light in the dark tunnel of syndicated television is about to be snuffed out, and replaced by "Geraldo At Large," starring that mustache-weilding maniac, Geraldo Rivera. We can't let this happen. Make a statement to Twentieth Television and executive producers Peter Brennan and John Tomlin, by signing this petition and convincing them to save A Current Affair, before it runs its course by the end of October. Thank you.Sincerely,
