Save Hastings Pier

To:  Hastings Borough Council

I support The Observer's bid to get Hastings Pier open.

By adding my name I am urging Hastings Borough Council to commit to moving things forward and return the pier to the people of Hastings by carrying out a compulsory purchase order from owners Ravenclaw.

They should then hand the ownership over to the Hastings Pier and White Rock Trust.

I also want the council to begin working more closely with the trust to help it get its plans up and running.

Leaving the pier empty and derelict is no longer acceptable.
