Stop Torture of America's Veterans |
To: President Bush and The United States CongressThe Torture of America's Veterans
America has both a legal, and moral, duty to care for her veterans. Those who have fallen in battle fighting to protect the freedoms we all enjoy.
Yet, many veterans who have fell in battle 20 years ago, and longer, are still waiting for their disability claims to be processed.
There are laws that clearly award benefits to veterans, and their families. Laws that give veterans specific rights. Yet those laws are blatantly violated, and ignored by the United States Government.
There appears to be a conspiracy by powerful individuals in the United States Government to keep the budget of the Bureau of Veterans Affairs low, by an Illegal Policy of Cheating America’s Veterans.
It seems that the United States has stacks of hundred dollar bills to drop in envelopes in Afghanistan, but doesn’t have a dime to give veterans to keep them from starving.
Many of America’s Veterans are homeless. Starving. Living in woods, cars, alleys, and under bridges. Others spend years begging the VA for benefits they earned, and are legally entitled to.
There is an Official Policy of the United States Government to torture America’s veterans by delaying the processing of veterans claims by “sitting” on claims for years. And then sending the claims in endless circles without ever fully processing them.
It is “normal” for the Bureau of Veterans Affairs to steal records, and evidence from veterans claim files. To hide evidence, lie, and use any illegal means to prevail against the veteran if a case makes it to Court.
This “Official Policy” is encouraged by a corrupt Court of Veterans Appeals so far in the pocket of the VA that in most cases it is no more than a rubber stamp approving the illegal conduct of VA Officials.
No “Reasonable Person” reading the decisions of that Court could ever believe that the Veterans Court is impartial, honest, or just. As it should be.
America’s Veterans shed their blood for this country and the freedoms we all enjoy.
We, the undersigned, DEMAND that the United States Government stop torturing America’s Veterans.
We DEMAND that a statute be passed, and firmly enforced, requiring that it take no longer then 18 months to fully process veterans claims for benefits.
We DEMAND that a statute be passed, and firmly enforced, making it a felony with a penalty of five years in prison for any individual to tamper with, delay, or otherwise hinder the processing of a VA Claim for Benefits.
We DEMAND that the United States Government stop it’s policy of keeping the budget of the Bureau of Veterans Affairs low, by illegally cheating America’s Veterans.
If the VA can process pay checks for it’s employees within a week then there is no reason whatsoever that it cannot fairly process a veterans claim within 18 months.
The present policy of delays is clearly part of an illegal conspiracy to control the budget by cheating veterans.
A conspiracy of which the President of the United States, the United States Congress, VA employees, and the Courts are all a part of.
And it is a national disgrace.
Sincerely,
