The software Sibelius is one of the top of the line products for creating and editing music. However, in the new version (Sibelius 4) one of the key features has been removed. In earlier versions, one could advance the caret by pressing the spacebar. In this new version, the spacebar is now used as a play button, and the ability to advance the caret is no longer available, even on a different key. To get the caret again, one must either re-enter the note, or go to the next note, and place the caret behind it. This wastes time, and is hard for users who are very used to the other versions of Sibelius to adapt. I propose that you, the owners of Sibelius, add the ability to advance the caret, at the very least to a different key, if not to the spacebar itself. Sibelius has always been famous for its ease of use, and it has just lost some of it. Sibelius, please add the Advance caret function into Sibelius 4 and all the future versions of Sibelius!
