Please fix Soundwave’s voice for the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen DVD

We are the real Transformers fans that absolutely loved the movie. To actually have our childhood robots come alive in a live action movie is simply amazing. The special effects were top notch, the storyline was incredible, and while the vocal performances were great, there was one character in particular whose voice was incomplete.

We need Soundwave’s original G1 voice back for the DVD or at the very least something similar. Soundwave’s voice is very iconic and also an integral part of the Transformers Universe. This is not an oversight on Michael Bay’s part but an oversight on Hasbro’s part. Regardless of the reasoning behind the G1 voice, it is the voice that all of us original Transformers fans have grown to love. Soundwave without his G1 voice is like Michael Jackson without his Moonwalk. We have already lost a living legend from the 80’s. At least let us keep in tack some of the memories from our beloved 80’s cartoon characters.

This oversight can easily be fixed for the upcoming DVD release. We understand that there are some people who are completely satisfied with Soundwave’s current voice in Revenge of the Fallen. While we are also fans of Dr. Claw and loved the Inspector Gadget series as well, we feel that the Dr. Claw’s voice should remain with Dr. Claw and that Soundwave needs the modulation (Vocader) effect that he has had for years.

Please give us back Soundwave’s G1 voice.
