Students for Stamp |
To: UND StudentsProfessor Jeff Stamp’s teaching contract with UND College of Business has not been renewed for the fall semester of 2009. This is a major loss for the UND Entrepreneurship students as well as the entire university. Professor Stamp is a huge asset to the students across campus, and students need to do everything in our power to keep him at UND. By his actions and strong record, Dr. Stamp has shown to be committed to UND, the undergraduate entrepreneurship program and to growing the graduate entrepreneur program. To retain one of the best professors we have, students must pull together to show the administration it is important to us that he continues to be a key educational leader in one of the University’s top programs. When your team brings home a national championship four years in a row, you keep the team together.
Since 2005, Professor Stamp has played a key role in helping the Entrepreneurship program be rated in the top 1% of Entrepreneurship programs in the nation ranked by Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine. This success is due in large part to the unique teaching style of Professor Stamp as well as his real world entrepreneurial experiences that bring a key perspective to the way that students think about entrepreneurship. Not only does Professor Stamp have a great way of teaching, but he is one of the most easily accessible teachers on campus. He can be contacted at any time seven days a week and is always willing to help, even during weekends and summer break. Stamp's commitment to students is extraordinary as his knowledge of innovation and entrepreneurship and his ability to teach.
These are a few of the reasons why students need to show the University how much it means to us to bring back Professor Stamp. Show your support for Stamp by signing a petition and bring it to the administration's attention.
Sincerely,
