15 months ago, Stark County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Hope Steffey and forcibly stripped her naked. Recently, local news station WKYC obtained a video of the incident and placed it on the internet at http://www.wkyc.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=82447


We, the undersigned, believe that the actions of the deputies may constitute Sexual Battery under Chapter 2907.03 of the Ohio Revised Code. The nature of this crime is particularly heinous because it was committed under color of law.


We ask that you bring appropriate charges against the deputies responsible for this act of sexual violence.
