As owners and prospective owners of the T610, we would like to call your attention to the implementation of JAVA in this phone. For applications such as ICQ for java, IRC for java, MSN for Java and Multi-player GPRS games, the T610 needs a MIDP 2 JAVA update giving JAVA support for Sockets. We cannot stress how important this feature is to us, and has a large deciding factor when buying the T610. The overall performance of the current JAVA is slow and unpractical. Please fix this HUGE problem in an otherwise excellent phone.
