To: Eidos Interactive (and possibly Ion Storm Austin)

Dear Eidos,

We, the fans of the Thief series (including Thief: The Dark Project, Thief Gold, and Thief 2: The Metal Age) are asking you to release all of the old, unused Thief material that was left incomplete when Looking Glass Studios went out of business (source code, beta/alpha versions, Thief 2 Gold, etc.). We are asking this because of similar actions taken by other game companies. For example, id Software released the early versions of Doom because of both high demand and value.

What we have in mind is that you release it along with
Thief 3. Everyone in support will certainly buy this package, regardless of price. This will attract more customers to the game, which would bring in more revenue to your company.

We sincerely hope you consider this idea. It will help both you and the entire Eidos gaming community and every other game oriented community, both online and in the media.
