To:  Lucasarts

Dear Lucasarts:

The PC gaming market has been very kind to you. Without PC gamers, Lucasarts as it is today would not be. Knowing this, and knowing the extra revenue it would bring, you have chosen not to make a PC version of The Force Unleashed.

Your official reason for this is that people with low end PC's could not benefit from the DMM and Euphoria technologies, and if the game was scaled back then people with high end PCs could not take advantage of them.

That didn't stop Crysis or any other recent game from releasing for the PC and becoming extremely successful. If this was the true reason, I suspect you wouldn't be releasing the game for the Nintendo DS, PS2, nor PSP systems, since they are incapable of supporting this technology.

We, the undersigned, feel that this is simply Lucasarts selling out to the console market and becoming greedy and fearful at the prospect of the easier pirating of a title on the PC. This is insulting to Star Wars fans, Lucasarts fans, and even fans of good games.

Until a PC version of The Force Unleashed is confirmed and put into development, the undersigned are boycotting Lucasarts and its associates. We will not buy yours, or any associate's products including The Force Unleashed for any console.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
