Save The Trout Slap!

This petition is for the The Rights Of Universal Trout Slappers or 'TROUTS' for short - There is a strong belief that Khaled Mardam-Bey, author of IRC Client mIRC may actually remove the default trout slap that has been present since 1995. We believe this may actually cause mental damage to the trout. Taking the trout from its mIRC cyber home and putting it back in its natural habitat will unbalance the trouts emotions - we also believe that it may be at danger from other trouts as a foreigner - trouts are collonial animals travelling in large groups, and new trouts to the group may be rejected, especially one with a reputation for slapping.

Secondly, tradition. mIRC has had the trout slap since anyone can remember and to lose it would be a great shame and an end to a legacy of trout slaps. The argument of 'abuse' is unfair, most of mIRC's features would be stripped as most of them can in some way be abused. Do note that this trout has voluntarily put himself up for this noble duty.

Even more shockingly we spoke to mathematics expert Dr. Michael Fisher, who had the following to say: "Just because my surname is Fisher does not mean I know anything about trouts. Go away." - After further pressing questions he subjected to pressure and blurted out a secret, "If the trout from mIRC is put back into waters the natural equilibrium of the world may become unbalanced causing the Earth's plates to shift, and huge earthquakes to occur that would cause entire continents to be swallowed by the sea." Shocking.

Please, for the sake of mankind, mIRC tradition and the trout involved, sign this petition to save the trout slap!
