New Tenants for The Rotunda In Preston Park, Brighton

We, the users of Preston Park, and council tax payers of Brighton and Hove, request that you give notice to the current tenants of the Rotunda Cafe in Preston Park, and seek a tenant that is family friendly, and offers high quality food and drink.

Every user of Preston Park, and especially the parents of young children (who use it most), will tell you what a low standard of service is provided in The Rotunda. The owners and staff are rude to customers, there are no facilities (i.e. high chairs) for young children, and parents of young children are made to feel extremely unwelcome. The quality of food and drink is also unacceptably low.

Preston Park is one of Brighton’s best parks, and its cafes should offer high quality, family friendly service to the people of Brighton.

The Cafe in St Ann's Well Gardens is an excellent example of what can be achieved - high quality food and high quality, family-friendly service. There is no reason why The Rotunda in Preston Park should not be of a similar standard.

You are doing an injustice to Brighton, its Parks and its council tax payers by allowing the current tenants to remain in The Rotunda. Please do the right thing and find a better tenant.
