Current Ohio State Law states the following ratio for children in an In Home Daycare/Type B Home:
1 adult to 6 children (which include your own children under the age of 6), of these 6 children you can have no more than 3 children under the age of 2 at any time (including your own).
We believe that an in home daycare/Type B Home should be permitted to have up to 8 children in their care at any time.
We are asking for the State of Ohio to change this law to state:
1 adult to 8 children (which include your own children under the age of 6), of these 8 children you can have no more than 3 children under the age of 2 at any time (including your own).
