University of Louisiana at Lafayette Horse Farm

We the undersigned are opposed to rezoning which would allow commercial development on the most beautiful Green Space remaining in our city, the former UL Lafayette Horse Farm. Given the diversity of potential uses for this irreplaceable community asset, we believe that the University of Louisiana at Lafayette has acted too hastily in its rush to sell the property; we request that a dialog between concerned citizens, local government, and the university be initiated in order to discuss uses of this property which might improve life for everyone in Lafayette.
