Union South Initiative

To:  The ASM Student Council, Offices of the Chancellor, Wisconsin State Senate, Governor James Doyle

We, the undersigned, support postponing the deconstruction of Union South until the Associated Students of Madison (ASM) can put the deconstruction to students in a referendum. ASM recently passed legislation requiring all capital building projects to be voted on by at least 15\% of the student population. The South Union Campus project should be held to this standard.
