Save Chuck Palahniuk's "Survivor"

To:  Anyone with influence over the fate of this movie , (including but not limited to Fox Corporation, and Rich Green @ United Talent (Chuck Palahniuk's Movie Agent)

In a time when the current climate of the Film Industry seems to be “Milk big name franchises for all they are worth, and create other big name franchises from currently existing material.” (E.g. Harry Potter, Scooby Doo). It is a breath of fresh air when material comes along that is both original and groundbreaking. Chuck Palahniuk, visionary author of Fight Club, is poised and ready to unleash another of his fantastic books upon the movie-going public.
Reportedly, there is an incredible script already completed for Mr. Palahniuk’s novel Survivor. Some of the most talented and high-powered people in the movie and music industry have already expressed interest. Trent Reznor, Jim Carrey, Kevin Spacey, Nicole Kidman, and Marilyn Manson are among the names that have supported this project for the almost 2 years of “development hell” that it has been put through. Now it appears that this project may never see the light of day, because its content is deemed inappropriate in our Post 9/11 environment.

We, the undersigned respect the decision to be sensitive towards our nation’s tragedy. At the same time, we are movie fans and would like to voice our disapproval of what can only be considered censorship of the movies we would love to see. Please give “Chuck Palahniuk’s Survivor” the Greenlight, and allow us to decide for ourselves what may be objectionable to watch. Thank you for your time, and we look forward to a great night at the movies!
