Make VE Day An International Holiday

We the people of the world, do solemnly proclaim VE Day, the 8th of May to be an international holiday. This date will for ever more stand as a tribute to the brave men who fought and died to win the Second World War, so that peace may survive for future generations.
We the people of the world, are hereby resolved, that every 8th of May all national governments and business right across the world, will cease their normal operations and pay tribute to the sacrifice made by the veterans of the Second World War.
This petition will be delivered to the United Nations as well as, many national governments throughout the world.
