Pathetic road conditions in Pune ( IT HUB of Maharashtra)

Pune is an IT & Educational hub not only on Indian Map but also on International front. It is a preferred destination for FDI . Since last couple of years the pathetic conditions of Roads in Pune have given a bad name to Pune ; Since last couple of years every monsoon and even thereafter the roads in pune have numerous pot holes ; trenches and they are causing lot of ailments and accidents to puneites. Eminent personalities like Lata Mangeshkar ; Business leaders like Nasscom President Mr. Kiran Karnik ; Wipro Chairman Mr. Aziz Premaji and even ambassadors from foreign countries have openly criticised the pathetic conditions of pune roads.This is all Inspite of the fact that the Pune Municipal corporation has annual budget of more than 1100 crores. The Ruling party in Pune Municipal corporation being Congress and CITY MP Mr. Suresh Kalmadi is also from Congress they have major role to play in city administration.
It is evident now that both of them have failed to improve situation and instead of going to root cause of the problem and taking civic administration to task they are advising citizens to have patience ; this is rubbing salt on the wounds of puneites.
We sincerely request your kind intervention in the situation and get a relief to lakhs of pune citizens. We are very sure that you will definitely understand our feelings .
