Paint the world’s tallest tower green for democracy.

On July 23, it will be the end of the 40 days of mourning for the death many Iranians during the most violent day of protest after the rigged elections. It is also the chehelom of Neda, the symbolic innocent girl that represent the struggle of all Iranians in a society driven by tyrants.

By signing this petition, we are asking for the CN Tower to be lit green on July 30rd in order to remember Neda and all others who have died for democracy in Iran. Furthermore, it will be reminder that those tyrants are still ruling Iran with an iron fist and even though the media may have stopped covering the struggle of the people, for them it is a part of daily life.

You can sign this whether you’re Persian or not because as Saadi said we are all human and one.
