On September 11th, 2001, the city of New York experienced the single worst man-made atrocity ever to occur - we lost three buildings of the World Trade Center, and with them, 2,974 lives, and uncounted more are suffering undocumented illnesses and worse, due to ill-advised decisions by monied interests.

One of the casualties of the attack on the World Trade Center was the PATH complex. This was recently rebuilt, and seems to me a fitting monument to what occurred nearly seven years ago.

It has been brought to my attention that there are plans to demolish the PATH complex, at the cost of tens of millions of dollars, and to the inconvenience of many New Yorkers and New Jersey commuters.

I believe that the current PATH complex should be preserved, made ready for permanent usage, and that any further efforts focus upon making the World Trade Center Complex work for New York and New Jersey.
