Requesting cancelation of Viewing of Wilders’ Film about Quran

To:  U.S. Senator Jon Kyl

We request canceling of the viewing of the film made by Mr. Wilders (FITNA) in regards to the Quran. If it is not possible to cancel this viewing, we request that one or more Islamic scholar(s) be invited to the event and be given an opportunity to present a balanced perspective and interpretation for the viewers of this movie.

This film is hate propaganda and extreme deviation from and distortion of the truth about Islam, its teachings, and the holy book of Quran. Showing this movie is no different than the type of hate-filled propaganda that Nazi Germany was propagating about the Jewish faith and its followers.

The protection of freedom of speech is an essential right of all human beings, but it should not be used to promote hate and violence against others.

History will remember all of our deeds; let us hope we leave a legacy of love, justice and peace.
