Hurriyat Conference (G) Representation for WKSA (World Kashmiri Students Association)

We, the members and supporters of World Kashmiri Students Association (WKSA), hereby make a formal petition of representation to Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, asking for due representation in the Amalgam to work together with existing member parties towards the realization of our Right to Self Determination under the U.N. Resolutions - 38, 39, 47, 51 of 1948, U.N. Resolution 98 of 1952 which were reiterated in the U.N. Resolutions 122, 123 and 126 of 1957.

WORLD KASHMIRI STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (WKSA) has been an effective binding force that has forged previously existing youth movements and parties in the subjugated nation of Kashmir into one comprehensively organized, global and politically structured youth movement.

WKSA has organized blood donation camps in Srinagar during times of rampant causalities due to the Amarnath Land Revolt, funded free kitchens at public hospitals and officially submitted a Memorandum to the UNMOGIP (United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan) during the 'Sonawar Chalo' Freedom March in Srinagar in August 2008.

We seek an active role as the youth of Kashmir in contributing our efforts and strength to a unified program that aims at empowering the people of Kashmir by representing their unalterable and non-negotiable demand to exercise their Right to Self Determination.

We appreciate and laud the efforts of Syed Ali Shah Geelani in not only representing our aspirations with clarity and authenticity but also maintaining the much-needed political and ideological consistency, a virtue that has been missing in past figures and movements.

We ask for representation in the Executive Council of APHC (G) on grounds of our common goal and our shared principles of Self Determination, No talks with India until complete troop withdrawal and the immediate repeal of all draconian laws.
