Waterloo Meriton Pedestrian Crosswalks

To:  City of Sydney Traffic Planning

The Waterloo Meriton Apartment complex houses over one thousand tenants, thriving businesses, and various facilities including gyms and parks resulting in a bustling, up-and-coming neighborhood. It also sits at the crossroads of busy arterial roads, and has temptingly allowed for motor vehicles to bypass busy intersections by speeding down our narrow streets.

Waterloo residents sigining this petition strongly urge the city to add pedestrian crossings at the following locations within the Waterloo Meriton Apartment complex, to provide for traffic calming and safe pedestrian access:

• At the bottom of Crystal St, near Potter St
• Across Potter St between Crystal St and Gadigal St (on top of the current speed bump)
• Across Gadigal Street near Potter St (on top of the current speed bump)
• At the bottom of Gadigal St near Lachlan St
