On Monday, September 15, 2003 the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) suspended it operations effective immediately. The WUSA claimed that there were not sufficeient revenues to support a fourth season. The main factor for the revenue shortfall was from lack of corporate sponsorship. This is where you can help. Please consider what sponsorship of the WUSA can do for your company. It provides instant access to a market of millions of young girls and boys who play the game, watch the game on TV, and attend the games in stadiums across the country. It also provides access to the adult soccer fans that enjoy the game, including the above-mentioned children's parents. Corporate America spends billions of dollars on professional sports in the USA on athletes that end up in the news for various felonies. When was the last time an athlete from the WUSA was in the news for getting arrested? You would be hard pressed to find an example. These women are the best role models a person could have. The WUSA does not have access to the deep pockets of a larger league, as the WNBA has with the NBA. So we need whatever help you can give.
