Welsh Supporters Against 6N Friday Evening Matches |
To: WRU, IRB & BBCWe the travelling fans of Wales who support our national rugby team through thick and thin, hereby give notice that we will not be going to the Wales vs. France rugby International on Friday, 26 February 20:00 GMT, not because we want to, but because we won't be able to get a train home.
We have had it up to our eyeballs with the TV getting priority over the real supporters and we want our 15:00 Saturday games restored so we can have the best possibly rugby international experience.
We will watch it on the TV in the local pub because this is what the WRU really wants us to do. We'll miss the pies from Typhoid Alley, but at least the beer will be cheaper, and better, and there won't be a queue 10 deep to get to the bar.
We'll also save ourselves the exorbitant cost of a ticket, which would almost give us enough to buy an exorbitantly priced replica shirt.Sincerely,
