Pokemon MMORPG |
To: Game DevelopersLet's see if we can influence and inspire the Game companies.
We all loved Pokemon on the GB, GBA, GBC, DS, Wii, N64, DSL etc...
But think about the fun you could have if they made a 3D Pokemon MMORPG. Not just restricted to the PC, but for the Wii! You could swing your Wii remote to throw Pokeballs.
The 'mobs' in the game would be the Pokemon, naturally, and you would run about with your crazy little character/avatar with their crazy clothing (which you would be able to stylise to make yourself unique), running about in the Pokemon World, seeing Pokemon thrive in the distance, as you crawl towards the timid and shy ones, and be chased by the aggresive ones.
I'm not sure about what you think, but would you agree to a Final Fantasy 12 encounter system?
Battling could be a little like Pokemon Stadium, yet real-time strategy style in the anime, also, you're not limited to 4 moves for your Pokemon like in the game
Also, your character would have a limited amount of HP (like in any RPG games, online especially) and they can 'faint,' and end-up at the last Pokemon Centre they visited! (So if all your Pokemon faint, you still have a chance to run away from the aggravated mob!)
Surely, with a little bit bit of imagination, planning, little more work, ideas etc, game developers could somehow make this work.
Share with us your thoughts.Sincerely,
