During President Obama's September 9, 2009 address to a joint session of Congress, Representative Joe Wilson from South Carolina's 2nd district, shouted "You lie!" after President Obama refuted the claim that his health care plan would provide coverage for illegal immigrants. This was a was a significant break in decorum.

Rep. Joe Wilson needs an immediate public mea culpa (acknowledgment of a personal error) to the President of the United States, to Congress, and to the American public.
