We request for the resignation of our ADUN YB Lau Weng San on the grounds that he has failed to fulfill his obligations made at the elections which was Equality before the law with the people's interest at heart. We also seriously question if he posses any of the skills required to be an ADUN. Below are the details to support this petition.

Equality before the law
Incident
YB Lau has chosen to listen to the demands of the protesters while ignoring a larger group of purchasers. The reason being he claims we were not yet part of his constituency.

Concern
There is no equality here YB Laus actions are clearly biased towards the protesters
It seems YB Lau has already made up his mind that the opposition would only hold the position in Selangor for a limited amount of time as he failed to realize that it is only a matter of time before we become part of his constituency

People's interest at heart
Incident
YB Lau had been having meetings with the developer, protesters and MBPJ but he failed to realize another group the purchasers. He did not have our interest at heart.

Concern
YB Lau fails to see the big picture of the situation but instead chooses to address the requests of a few.
We believe to date he has yet to figure out that he should listen to all sides of a case and then make the most intelligent logical conclusion instead of listening to who shouts the loudest.

Claims of ignorance
Incident
We had written to YB Lau in June 2009 stating a condo in SS1, his reply to which he is unaware of any condo in the area. This is amazing as he had written in his blog just a few month earlier on the 10th February 2009 regarding this very condo stating the access of SS1/25. In June YB Lau has advised that he is willing to attend our meeting in an email (please refer correspondence). When we discovered that he was not present at MBPJ on the meeting date, he claimed he was unaware of the meeting. This is in spite of the formal invitation sent to his office.
Since then we had contacted YB Lau through various channels such as
 Emails
 Snail mails via post
 Hand delivered mails to his office
 Purchasers went to meet him and ask for a meeting date.
All of which he had consistently ignored refusing to meet with us. When he finally agreed to meet with us 3 months down the road (conveniently the day before we had scheduled to meet TV3) he claimed that we did not bring the matter to his attention even when faced with the couple who had actually met up with him.

Concern
We have no confidence in YB Laus words or respect for him as a leader, as he seems to change sides depending on who sits in front of him
He either has a selective memory or that he does not have the necessary skills to organize and manage such a position and this should not be accepted from an ADUN.

Shifting blame / responsibilities
Incident
When we first contacted YB Lau, the advised received was that we should contact the House Buyers Association. He is our ADUN and he should at least grant us a meeting to listen to the problem.
YB Lau questions this projects approvals and blames the previous administration.

Concern
Clearly YB Lau cannot handle the situation, before even going into office he should have known that he will inherit and must resolve all outstanding matters, therefore we view the shifting of blame as totally unprofessional.

Demands from the protesters
Incident
The demands of the protesters are totally irrelevant to our project and we should not be held ransom.

Concern
As ADUN, he should be mediators and at least attempt to resolve the complexity surrounding the issue, instead of taking sides and aggravating the issue.
