Limited hours at York Mills Collegiate Library

This is a Petition to get the York Mills Collegiate Institute Library
back open in the mornings so we have our library the whole day, not just after 10 am.
The library has operated on limited hours for one whole semester (5 months) and has caused many problems for the students of York Mills. Due to the morning closure , afternoon volume has increased limiting the number allowed inside at lunch. Security team now needs to patrol at lunchtime whereas before they were not needed. Students now have to line up to enter the library when it is too full at lunch causing much frustration.

The library is an important resource in our school and students need their library before school and during their morning spares as many need to access it before school. During school and after school can be challenging for many.
There are students in our school who do not have computers ,printers etc and need to access the library in the morning.

This is a problem that needs to be solved and we would like the privilege of being be able to come to school at 8:15 am on a Monday morning knowing we have our library open!
