Off-leash Dog Park in Ann Arbor's Dowtown Area

To:  Ann Arbor City Council

We the undersigned support the proposal to build a dog park on the near west side of Ann Arbor. While the city has two dog parks, they are located on the outskirts of the city and require us to drive to reach them. We believe there are enough dog owners in this part of town to warrant a third park supporting the city's non-motorized transportation initiatives and minimizing the potential conflicts associated with off-leash dogs. This park would provide for the socialization and exercise that dogs need to be healthy and happy.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
