to anyone who may be against autism and who would want to get rid of my people: genocide-makers:

I am the proud owner of high-functioning autism. Many people like me on this glorious spectrum of autism including Asperger's Syndrome do not want a cure. I repeat do not want a cure!

There would be too many "rules and regulations" if a cure was found, but my theory is that there is no cure because there may be no cause of autism and that we're evolving. No more social rules!

See for a moment if you could a bright light side of autism and not a dark hole of nothing "successful." Step away from some neuro-typical views against autism and realize and recognize its gifts it may bring.

Some people on the spectrum might feel the overwealming "need" to fit in with society then blame their autism instead of some features some neuro-typical people have that are against the autistic person. As a popular autism author said (I went to her conference) autism isn't just the individual, it's the people around the individual that is included in the forming/growth of the autism. It's not the autism but some peoples' "peer" pressure and they're nothing if they don't fit in?

It's the wiring of the brain that makes up autism therefore autism is not a disease that needs a cure. It is what it is; a different way of being that is beautiful in its own unique ways. Different wiring in the brain does not make it bad just different. Autism "spectrumites" are needed in society and should be accepted as so. The creativity, the gifts, the difference in mind...

As another popular author of autism said if no one had any qualities of autism we would be still sitting in caves not getting anything done.

As one who signed the NYU campaign petition against the "ransome notes" said to take away the autism is to take away the personhood, and I believe it's true.

We need acceptance, NO CURE!

Who's with me!?
