Barfly DVD re-release.

To Barbet Schroder and/or Charles Bukowski and/or any and all copyright holders to the film Barfly:

As you may or may not be aware of, the film Barfly was released onto DVD on 2002 to very limited numbers, and the availability of this movie now is practically nonexistent. As such, the price for a copy of the film has climbed to abhorrently high numbers for a single DVD; the cheapest copy available on Amazon.com is in the low hundreds including shipping and handling. This is quite an unfair fate for such a high-quality film, and is even more unfair to fans of the film that now wish to own an acceptable quality print of the film of their own. As such, we humbly request that the film be re-released. We do not request a "special edition" or any other bonus material outside of its current DVD incarnation, though we obviously would not protest the notion, just a fresh release of the same package at an acceptable price.
