PETITION CONTRE LA DESTRUCTION DU SPECTRUM







Attendu que:



-Le Spectrum est au coeur de la vie culturelle montrйalaise



-Le projet actuel n'entends pas remplacer cette salle



-Il n'est pas question d'une autre salle de ce type dans le projet l'Оlot Balmoral



-Le remplacement de ce lieu par une tour de 15 йtages et un magasin Best Buy nuierait а l'вme mкme du Festival International de Jazz de Montrйal







Je, sousignй, dйsire me prononcer contre la destruction du Spectrum de Montrйal sans qu'il soit remplacй, et demande а la ville de Montrйal de ne pas йmettre de permis au propriйtaire des lieux (SIDEV) tant que son projet n'aie pas йtй rйvisй.

PETITION AGAINST THE DESTRUCTION OF THE SPECTRUM







As matter of facts are:



-that the Spectrum is at the heart of Montreal's cultural life



-that the actual project doesn't include replacement for it



-there is no showroom of this type in the Оlot Balmoral project



-that replacing this event center by a 15 story tower and a Best Buy would ruin the spirit of the Montreal International Jazz Festival.







I, hereby, wish to signify my opposition to the destruction of the Montreal's Spectrum without a project to replace it, and ask the city of Montreal to refuse any permit to the owner (SIDEV) as long as his project has not been revised.
