We the undersigned ask that you Mr President consider allowing American researchers to work with stem cells left over from fertility treatment.

This is happening in the United Kingdom where the Medical Research Council is in the process of setting up a stem cell bank.

There are people who desperately need this and we feel that it is time you heard from the people who believe in stem cell research.

Your policy on this is a policy that in the long run will not work because there are some scientists from the United States who have set up a lab at Cambridge University in Britain to do research which they are unable to do in the States.
