ABTA has got it wrong

I agree that:

+ the subscription model currently used by ABTA is fundamentally flawed and should be reworked, with bigger members contributing more.

+ the increase in the ABTA subscription figure I have been forced to pay this year is unacceptable.

+ I would if asked cancel my direct debit with ABTA for subscription payments, and demand my subscription payment back from my bank.

+ it was wrong to include all the costs (one trade paper suggesting a figure of around £750,000) of the FTO without any additional income from FTO members.

+ the structure of the ABTA Board is flawed and should be reworked, with a view to a more equal split between small and large members.
