We Condemn Mahmud Abbas

To:  The Palestinian People

Mahmud Abbas (Abu Mazen) does not represent the Palestinian people. By agreeing to participate in the "Peace" Conference at Annapolis on November 27, 2007, the president of the Palestinian Authority had betrayed the hopes, aspirations and sacrifices of the Palestinian people.

We, the undersigned, condemn the inexcusable silence, impotence, and subservience of the present Executive Committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and call for its immediate resignation.

We, the undersigned, also denounce the abuse of human rights by members of the security services and personnel of the Gaza-based Palestinian government.

We appeal to all Palestinians to rescue their cause by embarking upon the rebuilding of their shattered national institutions, first and foremost the Palestinian Liberation Organization.
