On more than one occasion, Mr. Adam Carolla has repeatedly referred to Hawaiians and Hawaii residents in a derogatory manner on his radio show, Loveline. With his co-host Dr. Drew Pinsky, Mr. Carolla has referred to Hawaiians as stupid, retarded, lazy, and as the worlds dumbest people. He has also called Hawaii residents as in-bred. Even though Mr. Carolla might not have meant it in an offensive manner, it is these statements that can generate a social stigma. They convey a sense of intolerance and narrow-mindedness against a group of people. Mr. Corollas comments not only create and enforce horrible stereotypes of Hawaiians and the people of Hawaii, but also foster hate and discrimination to a nation wide audience. And it is this ignorance that can lead to violence.

We, the undersigned, strongly oppose the racist statements said by Mr. Adam Carolla on his radio show, Loveline.

We are offended and appalled that blatant racist comments can be made on national media.

We fail to see how a show created for helping people deal with issues on sex, love, and health can support bigotry and hatred

We demand for Mr. Adam Corollas termination from Loveline.

Hate is not a value that should be taught.

Racism is something the world does not need.
