Lower the Marriage age

I think marriage age should be lowered to seventeen if teens can drive at sixteen whats wrong with lowering one age down from eighteen to seventeen for teens to marry. If that's really who they love I see no problem with it its their choice not the parents. I think if parents can sign their teens to marry in most states ages 14-17 seventeen on its own should be okay to marry with out the signed permission of their parents love has no boundaries right so whats wrong with this idea its one age down what will it hurt? I think they just want the respect to be an adult and make choices on their own and marriage is one of the main choices teens would like to be able to make at seventeen.
