SUPPORT PETITION FOR LORD AHMED

We, the undersigned, strongly believe that a prison sentence, for Lord Nazir Ahmed, would adversely affect the work that he is able to do within the national and international community.

We fear that, by nature of having a prison record, the work opportunities and possibilities open to Lord Ahmed will be strictly limited.

Many agencies that have previously benefited from Lord Ahmedвs contribution will now have no choice but to relinquish any connection they have with him, at a detriment to their organisation; through loss of Lord Ahmedвs expert advice, dedication and commitment.

We hope that the Court of Appeal will take this into account when reconsidering his case.
