A young french cyclist, 26 years old, 1m80, former scout chieftain, was working as a webmaster in nancy, france. he left nice, france, on 18 july 2007 to go round the world on his bicycle.
he used to keep his family regularly informed about his progress via email and msn. nothing has been heard from him since his arrival in mumbai, india, on 5/12/2007.


Last May, the French Ministry of Justice has sent a letter rogatory to the Indian Judicial Authorities (Commission Rogatoire Internationale).
This letter rogatory requests the agreement of the Indian authorities to enable French policemen to pursue their investigations on the ground, in India.
To this day (September 2008), the awaited agreement has not been given by the Indian authorities.

To show the Indian authorities how concerned the public is about Jean-Baptiste and about the investigation into his disappearance, we are launching this petition which will be sent on to the Indian Embassy in France.
