Change wine making limit from 5 to 200 Gallons in Alabama

To:  State of Alabama

Federal law, and that of most states, permits home winemaking of up to 200 gallons per household per year and did even during Prohibition. The 1940 Alabama law limits possession of homemade wine to just (5) five gallons.

Winemaking is a growing industry in the Southern United States. This law needs to be changed to allow wine makers in the state of Alabama to compete fairly and legally.
