Based on the bestselling novel by Watt Key, ALABAMA MOON is a classic kid’s film, complete with adventure and survival that most kids only dream about. The film was directed by Tim McCanlies (Second Hand Lions, The Iron Giant) and stars Jimmy Bennett (Shorts, Orphan, Evan Almighty), John Goodman (The Big Lebowski, Monsters Inc., O Brother Where Art Thou?) and Clint Howard (How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Apollo 13). Beautifully shot and realized this heartwarming story is not to be missed.

Since its release in 2006, the novel has received numerous awards, recommendations and rave reviews from critics, teachers and readers alike. Distributors like yourselves should not be surprised to know that fans of the novel are eager to watch this film.
