In light of the culture of impunity which has persisted in Zimbabwe, since 2000, and which was a major factor in serious violations of economic, social, cultural, civil and political rights, I urge to you to call on the government of Zimbabwe to end violations against human rights defenders and to ensure that past violations are addressed.
