Anime North 2009- Skit Contest

In the past, entries to the skit contest at Anime North in Toronto Ontario, have been unlimited, or at least include a high number of entry space available. The time limit was 5 minutes per skit.
This year however, with no prior warning, they have reduced numbers to 25 entries only, and only 10 of those get the 5 minutes. The rest are limited to 2.
This means, that a lot of people whom have been planning skits for months around the 5 minute time limit, well be left with all their work for nothing, as they will not be able to enter. I also know that there are more than 25 groups wanting to perform skits.
