Make the Train Stop At Clunes

To:  Members of Parliament Victoria

To the Honorable Members of Parliament.
Thank You for bringing back rail services to Victoria. Thank You for the new Station in Wendouree and three bus services every thirty minutes for each. Thank You for making the trains more frequent to Melbourne and Arrarat. Thank You for opening up the line to Maryborough. Thank You for stopping at Creswick.

How ever, there is a lovely little town between Ballarat and Maryborough called Clunes. Clunes has a great Gold Field History. Clunes has a great history. Clunes has many lovely people. Clunes people need transport too. Clunes NEEDS a train service along with the rest of Victoria.

Why can't a passing train on its way through stop for the eager 1000 people or more to use a service?

Why can't a passing train on its way through stop to let City people visit the town and get a taste in a Classic Historic town?

The potential of employment will be a big step for the little town. Tourism will bring economy growth into the town. The service will be profitable to our local Government.

We here sign this petition for a plea to revaluate your decision on speeding through a lovely little place in Victoria and have the train service stop at Clunes Victoria. Do not neglect these people as they are just as important as connecting Maryborough to Melbourne.
