Seaton is the gateway to the beautiful Jurassic Coastline & many people visit specifically to take in the panoramic breathtaking views.
The local people of the area also walk along the Seafront as we are especially privileged to have an easily accessible and well maintained promenade that runs along the whole of the seafront.
Many disabled, elderly, children, teenagers & adults have used the sheltered seating area on the seafront as a place to rest, meeting point, shelter from the elements(but still able to admire the scenery)
so much so that it is much loved and an integral part of our beautiful town and community.
There is a regeneration programme under way to bring real improvements to the Town.We have a cycle path, wildlife estuary ,coral reefs- the list goes on, but what we don't have any more is OUR SHELTERED SEATING AREA because EDDC in a moment of complete madness has taken it away without even consulting or forewarning us.
We are not going to accept this and are calling for an immediate replacement located as close as possible to where the shelter was.
The Terrace Arts Cafe overlooks the wonderful sea and coastline and we are asking our customers to sign a petition for us to present.
Please take the time to add your name to the petition too!
