Anti-REAL ID Act

To:  U.S. Government

This petition is against the U.S. Government and large corporations using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) to track purchases and other personal information. RFID has already been implemented in things such as Exxon's Speedpass, and the U.S. is planning on a national ID card, and the law takes effect in May, 2008. Without your card, you won't be able to board an airliner or Amtrak train, open a bank account, or enter a federal building. The Constitution endorses a "limited government", and the founding fathers would have a fit if they knew this was being even seriously thought about. By signing this petition, you are agreeing that what you purchase, where you go, and everything you do should not be watched by the government.
